Hiking by the Mountain Stream

A rugged hiking scene, a backpacked figure pausing beside a rushing mountain stream framed by steep, textured rock walls. Cool blue-gray tones dominate the water and distant peaks, while warm browns in the figure’s clothing and gear provide grounding contrast. The walking stick and loaded pack are rendered with quick, confident strokes that suggest practical gear without excessive detail. Distant haze and soft-edged mountains create convincing depth behind the more solidly painted foreground figure. The overall impression is adventurous and atmospheric, a small human figure set meaningfully within a much larger, wilder landscape.
