In Memory of Andy Gann

A warm memorial portrait made in fond remembrance, a broad, easy smile and sunglasses tucked casually into the collar giving the sitter an approachable, everyday warmth. Loose, scumbled strokes of blue and gray fill the background, keeping full attention on the friendly, direct gaze. Confident, economical brushwork builds the face with clear warm-cool transitions, particularly through the light beard and smiling mouth. The dark shirt is treated simply, letting the expression carry the emotional weight of the piece. The overall mood is affectionate and warm, a keepsake likeness made to honor and remember a smiling, well-loved presence.
