Old Bearded Man Repeat Sketch

A weathered graphite portrait of an older bearded man, wild, textured hair and a full mustache rendered with loose, energetic crosshatching. Deep-set, shadowed eyes beneath heavy brows give the face real gravity and age, while the beard’s varied strokes suggest both softness and unruly texture. Minimal background or clothing detail keeps every bit of focus on the weathered, expressive face. The slightly furrowed brow suggests quiet concentration or mild concern. The overall mood is rugged and observational, age and character conveyed through confident, varied line work.
