Looking Over the Shoulder, Giclee Art Print

Over the Shoulder Look, Art Print of an Oil Painting. I’ve tried painting this pose a few times to varying degrees of success, but I think this one turned out well. I particularly like the background here. I think it would be fun to add figures to the background more often, especially in nature scenes like this. It seems like that might require a bit more planning before putting brush to paper, which is not something I really do much of (I usually just dive in)…but that would be an opportunity to grow and perhaps develop useful new habits.

Additional Details: Original oil painting by Jon Amdall using alla prima direct painting technique, Utrecht brushes, Gamblin and Utrecht paints, and Strathmore paper. Art prints are from FinerWorks on their Premium Giclee thick (21-mil) heavy weight (310g) paper. For artwork with multiple size options, the first listed is always the original dimensions, with similar orientations in larger sizes following. For example, for paintings that were originally square, I’ll offer a few square size options, then some cropped vertical or horizontal choices.
