Mountain Hiking, Art Print of an Oil Painting. With this painting, I wanted to try another nature scene, but this time panned out even farther to really focus on mountains and water. Small characters are quite challenging for me, but I think I was able to capture the basics well enough. My favorite is still painting facial features with closer portraits, but this was a fun detour to try something a bit different. I still have a lot to learn about depicting mountains and natural terrain, but as with everything, I think practice will continue to help me improve.
