Pirate Looking Guy with Water Background – Giclee Art Print of Oil Painting. I have to admit, the titles I come up with for these paintings are sometimes pretty weird. As I was painting this piece, I kept thinking the guy looked like pirate, and even though it might not look like it, he’s supposed to be sitting on a canoe. So – Canoe Pirate, right? Regardless of title, overall I enjoyed this painting. There were a couple of hiccups that I didn’t ever completely resolve, lower limb position, quality and texture of the sand, and the overall unnatural shape of the island forest behind him. But I do think the piece works as a whole.
