Woman Sitting Legs Folded, Art Print of an Oil Painting. With this painting, I thought it might be fun to try a little comparison of oil painting versus colored pencil, so I repeated the same subject using both mediums. That can be kind of a fun test of your ability as an artist to replicate the same subject over again. This was somewhat of a challenging pose, with the woman’s arms around her knees. I prefer this oil paint version, but they do both have similar looks. I like the depth of color I was able to achieve with the painting.
