Farm Scene – Art Print of an Oil Painting. This was originally a larger square shaped landscape, but unfortunately I had crop out the horse on this one for printing purposes. Still though, I think this scene turned out nicely. The main subject, a woman sitting in the dirt in a farm scene, came together exactly as planned and the background figures worked out as well. I can’t always get the oil paints to behave as I want, but it’s fun when it does come together like this.
Additional Details: Original oil painting by Jon Amdall using alla prima direct painting technique, Utrecht brushes, Gamblin and Utrecht paints, and Strathmore paper. Art prints are from FinerWorks on their Premium Giclee thick (21-mil) heavy weight (310g) paper.
