Jon Amdall is a pencil artist by hobby, data analyst by profession, and scientist by education. He graduated from the University of North Texas Health Science Center with an M.S. in Biomedical Science and the University of Texas at Dallas with a B.A. in Biology. Jon runs the Amdall Gallery blog at jonamdall.com where he shares artwork, research projects, and tech-related interests.
Jon lives in Louisiana with his wife and two children. Although his day job doesn’t involve art, he heads into the studio whenever possible to create portraits using graphite and wax-based colored pencils. Jon also has a great fondness for spreadsheets and pizza but has not yet figured out how to combine these interests.
