Santa Paws – Art Print of an Oil Painting. This painting is a request/idea from my family of our cat, but transformed into “Santa Paws” (name credit to my jokester kids). This Christmas Cat was a fun challenge for the holidays – I’ve painting tons of people, and a few animals, but never a situation like this. I think the textures and overall look worked out pretty well. Overall a fun painting to work on and I think it turned into a pretty funny final piece.

Additional Details: Original oil painting by Jon Amdall using alla prima direct painting technique, Utrecht brushes, Gamblin and Utrecht paints, and Strathmore paper. Art prints are from FinerWorks on their Premium Giclee thick (21-mil) heavy weight (310g) paper.
