Art Print – Expressive Eyes Oil Painting

This has long been one of my favorites, although it seems it was one of my least popular on social media. So perhaps what I like is based partially in the experience of making the artwork. This painting came as I was finally starting to get the hang of blending backgrounds into subjects using wet-on-wet/alla prima technique. I also really like the eyes here, which are quite expressive.
