One area I’ve set out to improve on is intentionally painting more expressive eyes. Bizarrely, this is something that I still haven’t been able to gain very predictable control over – in this painting, I set out to paint very expressive eyes and actually succeeded. But in some cases, even very recently, that has eluded me. So, since this one worked out as intended, it’s one I am fond of.
