Lady Looking Away, Giclee Art Print

$80

Lady Looking Away – Art Print of an Oil Painting. I don’t have much experience with art shows, but I donated the original oil painting to the Postcard Art Exhibit sponsored by the Millhouse Foundation. To my surprise, this piece was actually selected by one of their board members as a “Top Five” and featured in their catalog! I attended the opening event and this portrait actually sold during the pre-sale, which was really gratifying.

Here’s what the PAE/Millhouse Foundation said about this painting in their catalog write-up:
“The best works of art are a dialogue, triggering emotion. This beautiful card does just that. It is a quick glance, a capture of time. The woman is on the move, looking away from us. There is a sense of being lost, or in need of help, but also of wanting to manage alone. It is beautifully painted. The artist is a master of his palette, highlights and shades.”

Additional Details: Original oil painting by Jon Amdall using alla prima direct painting technique, Utrecht brushes, Gamblin and Utrecht paints, and Strathmore paper. Art prints are from FinerWorks on their Premium Giclee thick (21-mil) heavy weight (310g) paper.
